The Psychology of Gambling According to Chris H

By on

What’s up freedom fighters, I’d like to formally introduce myself as your new resident blogger here at Prism Casino. My name is Chris and I have been in this business for longer than I care to remember. I’ve had lots of ups and down during my career as a gambler and poker player, but it’s been one of the best experiences of my life.

I’ve come to meet some interesting people and some weird people along my journey. Many of whom I’ve built a strong relationship with and consider to be close friends even though I’ve never seen them face to face.

I’ve managed to build a reputation among my peers as their “go to guy” when it comes to keeping an even keel. In the face of adversity, I usually keep my cool and somehow come out unscathed.

In the world of gambling, you will face many pitfalls, some of which have crushed the average gambler and sent them crawling home with their tail between their legs. The life of a gambler is not as glamorous as movies make it out to be and it can take a toll on you, both physically and mentally. It’s those who keep their senses and wits about them that stay in this game for the long haul and come out on top.

My goal here is to help those who fall into this trap. There are many of you out there and I know I can be of assistance. Believe it or not, there are tricks and tools that can be used to help curb what we call-tilt. This tilt comes out when you begin losing and it seems like the world is out to get you. Pretty soon, you’ve gone into a rage of staidness and blown all your money. Don’t let this happen to you again.

In the coming weeks and months, I will be your guide to a Zen like state of gambling. An existence far above the rest of the players that will help you not only keep your sanity, but win more money. I’m looking forward to interacting with all of you, and I hope what I bring to the table will be of use.
