Tricks Learned From Casino Games

The way we live life, or that many of us try to live life, is by falling down, learning what made us fall in the first place and stand up again. Right? Many of us do try to learn from our mistakes so that we’re prepared to confront similar situations in a much stronger emotional and maybe even physical state. Having made this point clear, let’s use this focus on life, but in our gambling life.

What do we learn from playing casino games after years and years of fun, but also defeat? This post is meant to give you tricks and hopefully prevent you from falling or having losses. Here we go!


  1. If dealer shows a ‘7’ card or higher, and you have 12, 13, 14, 15, or 16, always take a HIT.
  2. If the dealer shows 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, STAND on 12 and over, HIT if you have 8 or less, and DOUBLE DOWN on everything else. Especially true if the dealer shows 5 or 6.
  3. Never hit a HARD 17 or higher.
  4. Always SPLIT ACES.
  5. Never SPLIT two 10-value cards.
  6. Always DOUBLE DOWN on 11.
  7. Always DOUBLE DOWN on 10, unless the dealer is showing a 10-card up or an ACE.
  8. Never take INSURANCE, unless you also hold BLACKJACK.
  9. INSURANCE is a sucker bet. If you have BLACKJACK yourself ask for EVEN MONEY.

Slot Machines

  1. Play two-coin, three reel, one payline slot machines.
  2. Stay away from tree-coin machines unless they are PROGRESSIVE.
  3. Always play the maximum coins.
  4. Always play machines that show DOUBLE UP symbols.
  5. Don’t play nickel SLOT MACHINES.
  6. Ask which machine has the best payoff return.
  7. Look for 97.4% or better return.
  8. Play slots between 2 am to 8 am.


  1. Bet the PASS line with double odds.
  2. Make two COME bets with double odds.
  3. On the Come-Out roll bet C and E, (any craps and eleven).
  4. Don’t bet FIELD, BIG 6, BIG 8, HARDWAYS, or any one roll bets.


  1. Play WAY tickets and group your numbers.
  2. Never forget to claim your prize immediately after each game.
  3. KENO by far is the worst game, odds wise, of any casino games,HOUSE retains 28%.


  1. Bet SPLITS instead ofSTRAIGHT UP numbers.
  2. Bet the first 12, second 12, or third 12, in square groups or in columns.
  3. Time is your enemy, play for five minutes on black or red, or even or odd.
  4. Get in, make your money, and get out.

Video Poker

  1. Never throw away a winning hand.
  2. Always play 9/6 machines.
  3. Only play 8/5 machines if it is a PROGRESSIVE or a BONUS POKER machine.
  4. Never play a 6/5 machine.
  5. Always play maximum coins.
