Face Up 21
Face Up 21 is a blackjack game variation that basically follows all the same rules are regular blackjack but incorporates a few twists. This is a game that we recommend for the more seasoned blackjack player as it does involve the need for some higher-level strategy. In this game both the dealer and the player’s cards are dealt face up.
How to Play Face Up 21 Blackjack
In Face Up 21, the core rules are the same as our Regular Blackjack Rules. First, place your bets. The value of the chips are $1.00, $5.00, $25.00, $100.00 and $500.00. In this game you have the option to Split, Double down, Stand, Hit and Deal. There is no surrender option in this version of the game. You can play Face Up 21 Blackjack in the Real Money or Fun version of the casino.
Face Up 21 Blackjack Rules
In this game 8 standard decks are used. The dealer hits on a soft 17 and the dealer wins on ties (except on a natural 21 in both cases). The player can only split once in the game and can double up on any two cards. The player is not allowed to split 10 valued cards with a different face value.
While the cards are dealt face up (which might intuitively seem that it would make this game easier) in reality, it’s quite challenging. If you’ve got the skill and are up for the challenge – this is a highly rewarding version of blackjack!
